Luana Alonso, the 20-year-old Paraguayan swimmer, has been asked to leave the Olympic Village following her participation in the women's 100m butterfly event.
Alonso, who made headlines before the Olympics for her "Rings" tattoo, missed out on the semi-finals in Tokyo last year. However, it was her conduct outside the pool that ultimately led to her removal from the Olympic Village.
According to the Paraguayan Olympic Committee, Alonso was asked to leave after an investigation into inappropriate behavior.
