Stephen Miller Testifies in January 6 Grand Jury Investigation
Former Trump Advisor Questioned for Six Hours
Miller Credited with Shaping Racist Immigration Policies
Stephen Miller, a former senior advisor to President Trump, testified for six hours before a federal grand jury in Washington, D.C., on Tuesday as part of the ongoing investigation into the January 6, 2021, attack on the U.S. Capitol.
Miller is known for his role in shaping Trump's racist and draconian immigration policies, including the zero-tolerance policy that resulted in the separation of thousands of migrant families at the border.
An appeals court last week denied an emergency request from Miller to block his testimony, ruling that he did not show that he would be "irreparably harmed" if he were compelled to testify.
