NBA All-Star Game Heading to San Francisco in 2025
Bay Area to Host 74th All-Star Event
City Will Welcome Fans and Players for Weekend of Festivities
The National Basketball Association (NBA) has selected the San Francisco Bay Area to host the 2025 NBA All-Star Game. The 74th edition of the All-Star game will be played on Sunday, February 16, 2025, at Chase Center, home of the Golden State Warriors.
The NBA All-Star Game is an annual showcase of the league's top players, featuring a game between the Eastern Conference and Western Conference teams. The weekend also includes a variety of events and festivities, including the NBA All-Star Celebrity Game, the Rising Stars Challenge, and the NBA All-Star Skills Challenge.
"We are thrilled to bring NBA All-Star back to the Bay Area," said NBA Commissioner Adam Silver. "The region is home to some of the most passionate and knowledgeable fans in the league, and we look forward to an unforgettable weekend of competition and entertainment."
The San Francisco Bay Area has hosted the NBA All-Star Game four times previously, most recently in 2017. The 2025 event will mark the first time that the All-Star Game has been held in San Francisco.
