Change Page Background in Pages on Mac
Add a color gradient or image to the background of individual pages and to the background of a page. Tap Color then tap a color. You can also swipe left to the color wheel then drag the slider around the wheel to choose a color.

Open a file of your choice. Tap anywhere on the document whose background you wish.
