The Campeonato Nacional de Liga de Primera División, commonly known as the Primera División or LaLiga, is the top professional football division in Spain. The league is composed of 20 teams and operates on a system of promotion and relegation with the Segunda División. The season runs from August to May, with each team playing 38 matches.
History
LaLiga was founded in 1928 and is one of the most prestigious football leagues in the world. Format
